“Quand la foule devient cirque” is a mobile application that allows the crowd to affect the course of a show by performing actions on their phone (shake it, turn it, touch the screen, scream or blow into the microphone). The app even let’s users take control of individual performers in real time.

The system also allows the show to take control of the crowd’s phones, using their speakers, screens or flash.

The app includes an augmented reality mode that allows users to live the circus on St-Denis Street, even when a show is not in progress.
